Zoo's newest exhibits are dynamic discoveries of the worldwide variety. To wit,
Tropical Discovery features mammals and reptiles of the tropical rainforest while
Primate Panorama features rare monkeys and apes, from a six-ounce Pygmy
Marmoset to a 600-pound gorilla. Above all, don't miss North America's largest
Komodo Dragon exhibit. Located within City Park, the Denver Zoo is ideal family
fun. -- Drew Myron

3. Ocean Journey
Where shall we go today? The Colorado River or the Indonesian River? Don't
worry, you don't have to choose -- Colorado's world-class, and recently accredited,
aquarium takes us to both. Follow the Colorado River from the Continental Divide
to Mexico's Sea of Cortez, and then travel halfway around the world to follow the
Indonesian River from rain forest to the Pacific Ocean. During the self-guided
aquatic tour, you'll encounter fish, mammals and birds that rely upon the water for
survival – including two Sumatran tigers. - MJ Hupf
